Health Imbalances
Herbal and homeopathic remedies do NOT work like pharmaceutical drugs. Pharmaceuticals mask symptoms and suppress disease, they do NOT heal. Herbal and homeopathic remedies as well as other modalities, correct imbalances, and bring you back to wholeness. Lifestyle changes do the same. Healing takes time and lasts longer.
Choose Wholeness!
Autoimmune Disorder
Your immune system is designed to fight off foreign invaders, like viruses and bacteria. When the immune system begins attacking healthy cells, an autoimmune disorder develops. ALL autoimmune disease begins in the gut. The microbes in our gut play a significant role in the health of our immune system.
An unhealthy gut microbiome can result in damage to the lining of the intestines. This allows the gut barrier to be penetrated and, bacteria, that can be handled in the gut, is now spread into other areas of the body. The immune system jumps into action, defending the body against itself. Bacteria can also travel through the lymphatic system, which is networked throughout the body, causing a systemic (all over the body) reaction.
Inflammation, caused by eating a lot of sugar, carbohydrates, processed junk food as well as stress and alcohol, can cause a breakdown in the tissues and lead to pain in every area affected. A diet of whole foods, especially grass-fed beef, raw milk, and bone broth, and herbal remedies to control inflammation, can help you recover your health.
This elementary description of autoimmune disorder is the tip of the iceberg. This page cannot cover the scope of autoimmune disorders, as there are over 80 different types. But, when you think autoimmune, think gut health. This is the first place to start.
Cold and Flu
Runny nose, cough, chest congestion, sore throat, fever, and chills are common symptoms of cold and flu viruses. Most of us start searching for something to bring relief at the first sign of sickness. There are many natural remedies to treat symptoms, but guarding your health is your best defense.
Processed foods, sugar, cigarettes, alcohol, and other unhealthy habits and toxins tear down our immune defenses. They overload our liver, the detox organ, and destroy our gut health. Much of our immunity is built in our gut. Eating real food, eating fermented foods, getting plenty of sunshine, and drinking water can set your body up to be able to stave off germs as you encounter them. That's the way God created your body to work.
It is important to note that fever is not something that needs to be reduced most of the time. Your body heats up to destroy the pathogens that have invaded your body. If you'll allow it to run its course and just rest, you will get better faster.
Oh, one more thing...there's no such thing as a cold or flu "season".
Diabetes
Have you been diagnosed with diabetes? Did you know that it is NOT a life-long condition that you just have to live with? You CAN recover your health!
Diabetes is a carbohydrate intolerance. The body has trouble controlling the hormone known as insulin, which rises when you eat, so too much sugar winds up in the blood. Whether you have prediabetes, gestational diabetes, type 1 (autoimmune), or type 2 (lifestyle choice), your health can be greatly improved by reducing your carbohydrate intake.
Your overall health can drastically improve, if you stop eating processed foods, high fructose corn syrup, seed oils (vegetable, canola, sunflower, etc.), and sugar. Choose an animal-based diet instead. For detailed information about the animal based diet, check out the link on the left.
Eczema
(Atopic Dermatitis)
Eczema is a skin rash that usually presents as dry, scaly, and very itchy. Often, eczema appears in children under the age of 5, with flare-ups throughout life. While it is not considered an autoimmune disorder, it is often seen in people with autoimmune disorders.
The Cleveland Clinic says there is no cure. Personally, I believe there is a cure. It may require you to avoid certain foods, or products with chemicals, or even heal your gut. Our bodies are self-healing, and can overcome many things, if nourished and cared for properly.

Fatty Liver Disease
Alcoholic fatty liver disease is caused by drinking alcohol. To reverse this, you must stop drinking alcohol.
Non-alcoholic fatty liver disease is a bit more complex. In both diseases, there is too much fat being stored in the liver cells. This can lead to liver failure, cirrhosis, and liver cancer. In non-alcoholic fatty liver disease, changing your diet is the number one, most important action you can take.
While it may seem that fat is the problem, it is actually sugar. When foods high in carbohydrates are eaten, the insulin tells the liver to convert the excess sugar into fatty acids. These fatty acids are then stored in the liver. The more sugar is converted and stored, the more congested the liver becomes from fat.
Symptoms may include fatigue, weakness, loss of appetite, mental confusion, jaundice, fluid build-up in the legs and belly, spider-like blood vessels, and itching.

Fungal Infections/Yeast Overgrowth
Fungal infection is a result of fungal overgrowth. Fungus thrives in warm, moist areas like armpits, under the breasts, under the belly, and around the groin area. While a fungal infection can occur from external causes like using a public shower or sleeping on sweaty sheets, it is most often a result of internal yeast (also a fungus) overgrowth.
Yeast naturally exists in the small intestines. It's primary job is to eat undigested proteins. When you have digestive problems and your food is not broken down properly, yeast begins to grow out of control. If you have itchy rashes, in the areas mentioned above, nail fungus, or thrush, then you likely have systemic yeast overgrowth.
Heartburn
Reflux, heartburn, indigestion, whatever you call it, it can cause stomach pain, burning sensation in the esophagus, nausea, vomiting, etc. While it may seem like the problem is too much stomach acid, often the REAL problem is not enough stomach acid.
When there is not enough hydrochloric acid in the stomach, it can cause the lower esophageal sphincter to not close properly, allowing acid to reflux into the esophagus. Without enough stomach acid, protein is not properly digested and can lead to yeast overgrowth.
Your overall health can drastically improve, if you stop eating processed foods, high fructose corn syrup, seed oils (vegetable, canola, sunflower, etc.), and sugar. Choose an animal-based diet instead. For detailed information about the animal-based diet, check out the link on the left.
Mental and Emotional Health Issues
Mental and emotional health issues present for many different reasons. Poor gut health and nutritional deficiencies are at the top of the list. These are known to lead to depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, etc. Mental and emotional health issues are a topic too deep and wide to be fully addressed on this page. However, if you want to have a more in-depth discussion, message me and we can schedule a time to meet online or in person.
Gut health is top priority because the gut is the body's second brain. 90% of the body's "feel good" hormone, a neurotransmitter called serotonin, is produced in the gut. GABA, gamma-aminobutyric acid, is a neurotransmitter that is also secreted by the gut. It is responsible for regulating sleep, mood, stress, and anxiety by slowing down overactive neural signals. Dopamine, another neurotransmitter that is linked to pleasure and reward, is secreted by the gut.
An unhealthy gut full of toxins, bad bacteria, and backed-up poop not only hinders the production and secretion of serotonin, GABA, and dopamine, but it also hinders the absorption of nutrients from food. The gut has tiny finger-like villi on the surface that grab nutrients as food passes through the gut. But an unhealthy gut is often lined with old feces that hinders the villi from doing their job.
Nutrients, like omega-3 fatty acids, are vital for a healthy mind and healthy emotions. Studies have shown omega-3 improves depression, anxiety, ADHD, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, decrease in violence, antisocial behavior, borderline personality disorder, Alzheimer's disease, and age-related mental decline.
Omega-3 is found in fatty fish, (like mackerel, salmon, sardines), walnuts, flaxseed, chia seeds, and egg yolks. If the gut is unable to absorb omega-3 fatty acids, you are missing out on all of these benefits! To regain mental and emotional health, the first prescription you should consider is healing your gut.
Switching your food lifestyle away from processed foods, fried in seed oils, made with high fructose corn syrup, and made with non-food ingredients, is imperative in order to heal. Carnivore, clean keto, or an animal-based diet can drastically change your gut health. For many people, improved mental health happens very quickly.
If your mental and emotional health has been affected by trauma and/or demonic strongholds, there is Hope! You can be healed, delivered, and set free by putting your trust in Jesus. For more information, message me.
My son, be attentive to my words; incline your ear to my sayings. Let them not escape from your sight; keep them within your heart. For they are life to those who find them, and healing to all their flesh. Keep your heart with all vigilance, for from it flow the springs of life. ~Proverbs 4:20-23
