Why I Decided to Walk Away from Some Holistic Practices

Updated: Jul 12

I love holistic medicine. God is so far beyond genius in the way He put everything we need for our health in nature. Nuts, berries, herbals, fruit, vegetables, meat, water, it all comes from nature.

The natural health school I attended is a Christian school. I believe the modalities taught are meant to be for healing. I love my school and would never speak against it. The information I am going to share is my personal conviction based on my spiritual beliefs.

I have examined the modalities I have practiced in my holistic business. These include:

  • Herbalism

  • Homeopathy

  • Muscle Response Testing

  • Emotion release technique

  • Yoga

  • Tapping

  • Acupressure

  • Reams Biological Theory of Ionization testing

  • Flower essences

  • Traditional Chinese Medicine

Today, I am renouncing yoga. I knew this exercise had Eastern roots but never considered that this is rooted in Hinduism and is essentially worship of the Hindu god. I have added this TikTok video so you can see and hear all that I have seen and heard. I've heard others talk about yoga not being good but the evidence is presented very well in this video.

There are other things I won't be recommending again as well like acupuncture. This also has pagan roots and opens doors to demonic forces. I have asked God to forgive me for taking part in these practices and have prayed for anyone that has been affected by my belief that these things were okay to do.

I don't care about growing my business. I don't care how many likes, comments, or shares I get. I don't even care if I lose friends or followers. I care about pleasing Jesus Christ, the one true living God. None of it matters if I'm walking against Him.

In the days to come, I'll be seeking the Lord for insight into other parts of my business and seeing where He will have me to go. I don't judge other practitioners for the things they offer in their businesses. I pray for revelation for all of us so that we can offer the care that meets ,not just the physical, emotional, and mental needs of our clients but, also for the spiritual needs.
