Sage has been successfully used for centuries to bring balance to the body. It has the medicinal ability to ease pain, heal viruses and infections, eases muscle spasms, balance hormones, and reduce hot flashes.
It is also known to reduce inflammation, stop the formation of new cancerous tumors, kill viruses, get rid of excess gas, expel mucus from the respiratory tract, help with allergies, soothe the nervous system, stimulant organs to function better, and balance appetite, increase or decrease, according to what is needed.
Using a tincture ensures quick absorbtion of the healing properties of sage, and it is easy to make.

Here's what you do:
1 or 2 handfuls of fresh sage leaves, washed
Vodka, 80 proof or Brandy, 70-120 proof
Pint-size mason jar
Finely chop the sage leaves and put them in a mason jar.
Fill the jar with alcohol.
Place the jar in a dark cabinet for 2 weeks, shaking the jar everyday.
After 2 weeks, strain the sage from the alcohol using a cheese cloth or sieve.
Using 1-2 oz amber or blue bottles with droppers, fill with the infusion.
Store the bottles away from light.
Use 15-30 drops 2-3 times a day.
Caution
It is best to start slowly and gradually increase the dose. People who are allergic to mint, may be allergic to sage as well.
