Turmeric is a spice that is known for its anti-inflammatory benefits. It is often used in food, as a daily supplement, topical paste, and as a tea. Using it in warm milk creates Golden Milk, which has been used for centuries to help with inflammation, digestive issues, common cold (due to it's antioxidant benefits), and even sleep.

Here's what to do:
2 cups of milk
1 tsp of ground turmeric
Pinch of black pepper, for better absorption
Real maple syrup or honey, if desired
Cinnamon, vanilla, and other flavorings can be added, if desired
Add all ingredients to the pot.
Bring milk to a simmer for 10 minutes, allowing the ingredients to meld together.
Enjoy!
